Director Mohanan, who gave us the charming 'Katha Parayumbol', a few years back is now all set to release his next film 'Manikyakallu'. The film tells the story of a young teacher who arrives at a village school, who tries to make a definite change in student attitude.
The film stars young superstar Prithviraj in the lead role along with Samvrutha Sunil. The film also has Mukesh, Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy Sreekumar,
Jagadeesh, Salim Kumar, Indrans, Kottayam Naseer,
Anoop Chandran, P. Sreekumar, Anil Murali, Manuraj
K. P. A. C. Lalitha and Bindu Panicker in key roles.
The film has been scripted by the director himself. The musical score has been composed by M. Jayachandran and the cinematography is by P. Sukumar. Ranjan Abraham has edited the film.
'Manikyakallu' has been produced by Gireesh Lal under the banner of Gauri Meenakshi Movies and would grace the theatres by early May 2011.
