Yeh Saali Zindagi directed by Sudhir Mishra, the director of 2005's best film Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, is a crime comedy featuring Irrfan Khan and Chitrangada Singh along with a bunch of very talented actors.

Yeh Saali ZIndagi looked brilliant from the trailers and the film does not disappoint. Not at all! In fact, the film is so fast-paced that to completely understand and grasp the finer nuances a second watch is

highly recommended.

The movie starts off with Irrfan Khan hanging up-side down on a rope and from this point, right to the finish; this crime-comedy-thriller is one hellava roller coaster ride. The romantic portions are well-directed and the steamy love making sequence is aesthetically shot.

Unlike other Sudhir Mishra films, which lack entertainment value, Yeh Saali Zindagi has entertainment in abundance. It's by far his most commercial and entertaining movie ever. Dialogues are brilliant, the music goes well with the film and the camera work is top notch.

Negatives? Well, maybe the length and the fact that it could turn out to be a pretty exhausting watch at the end of it.

The director is known to extract the absolute best out of his actors and Yeh Saali Zindagi is no different. Irrfan Khan is in terrific form; he gets some of the best lines and delivers them in a way only he can! Chitrangada Singh is at her hottest best, that too without trying too hard. Her performance is equally good. Arunoday Singh, last seen in Aisha, delivers his best performance to date. Aditi Rao is very good. Sushanth Singh is brilliant. Yashpal Sharma, Surabh Shukla and the rest do very well too.

To sum up, Yeh Saali Zindagi has so many characters and sub plots that a second viewing would be required to completely understand the film. Warning - A loo break would be absolutely disastrous.

Do watch it, at least once.
