'My passion for cinema brings me here' says actress Preet Kamal

Preet Kamal, the actor who will make her Bollywood debut with national award winning director Nila Madhab Panda's ‘Babloo Happy Hai’, is looking forward to the release of her first film.


The young actor completed her masters from UK, returned to India to pursue her passion. She joined an acting course in Mumbai, and was lucky to bag an offer from the producers of ‘Babloo Happy Hai’ within the span of few months. Preet reveals that, just like every girl, being an actor was her childhood dream. She said, “It was somewhere in high school that I realized the importance of a good degree, living an independent life and being responsible. So after finishing my graduation and MBA, I moved back here to make my dream come true. My passion for cinema, brings me here. ”


Preet plays the role of Tammana in the film a young, snobbish, no-nonsense girl, who gets what she wants. ‘Babloo Happy Hai’ is a love story of today's youngsters, and what they think love and sex is in the times of multiplexes and fast cars. The film is slated to release on the 7th of February, 2014.
