Moore feels fatherly towards Craig

London, Nov 7 (IANS) Former Bond actor Roger Moore says he feels like a father figure to the present Bond actor Daniel Craig. He recommended Craig for the role even when Craig was unpopular.

Moore was one of the few who spoke out for Craig even when critics slammed the choice. When the two met recently in London, Moore felt he was vindicated and even wanted to look after Craig. Craig had suffered an injured arm on the set, reports contactmusic.com.

Moore says: "I supported him all the way through, from the time they were saying he's too short, he's too blond, he's not right for Bond. I said 'Wait and see - he's a hell of a good actor'. I was quite surprised when I met him three weeks ago in London... He's a gentle soul, he's really nice. I felt so bad his arm was in a sling I wanted to take him home and dress it for him."
