Russell Crowe to play Dracula?

London, July 13 (IANS) Actor Russell Crowe is set to star as Count Dracula in director Eli Roth's new movie "Harker".

The 48-year-old will take on the role in the film, expected to start production in 2013. The script has been written by Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy and the title role of Harker has yet to be cast, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Crowe and "Hostel" director Eli have previously worked together on "The Man With The Iron Fists".
