Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 blocks the date for Diwali 2019

After Salman Khan blocking 2019 Eid for his film ‘Bharat,’ filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala announced the fourth instalment to his popular comedy franchise – ‘Housefull’, which is scheduled to release on Diwali 2019.

‘Housefull 3’, which was released last year, went on to become a big hit at the box office and since then a fourth part of the series has been awaited. And now, finally Sajid Nadiadwala made the big announcement through the official Twitter page of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE). They tweeted, "The #Housefull gang is back! #SajidNadiadwala’s #Housefull4 arrives in #Diwali2019! @SimplySajidK @WardaNadiadwala #Housefull4onDiwali2019.”

The picture released with the tweet, read, “Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment's HOUSE is FULL of joy as we announce our next film. SAJID NADIADWALA brings back your favourite HOUSEFULL gang on DIWALI 2019! The FOURTH installment of the Franchise, themed on Reincarnation, will be directed by SAJID KHAN. Cast to be announced soon. Stay tuned!”

Sajid Nadiadwala said, “Housefull is franchise of fun and 4th will be the biggest Housefull that we have made till now. I am happy to be back with Sajid Khan who directed the first two parts of the film. We have a funny thematic twist in the fourth part as the plot is that of reincarnation. We have big production plans for the movie and that’s why we think that we would need all this time to make it the event film of 2019.”

As Akshay Kumar, Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh have been part of all three earlier Housefull films, one can assume that they shall be a part of ‘Housefull 4’ too.
