In times when filmmakers are usually tight-lipped about their forthcoming films, the makers of ‘Bazaar’ are quite happy to divulge some details about the film.

Of course, as the title suggests the film is based on the stock market and Saif Ali Khan, who after showing off his culinary skills in Raja Menon’s ‘Chef’, will be seen playing a cut-throat rags-to-riches businessman, who rules Mumbai’s share bazaar.

“It's a story about ambition, greed, betrayal, loss and redemption. The movie is a suspense thriller set in the world of big deals and high finances,” said Saif.

With this film, Saif will also reunite with his ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ director, Nikkhil Advani, who is the producer of the film, after 13 long years. Talking about their association, Nikkhil said, “It's been 13 years since ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, when I last shared creative space with Saif. So, this movie is special for us.”

‘Baazaar’ is directed by Gauravv K Chawla and also stars Rohan Mehra, Chitrangda Singh and Radhika Apte.

Radhika will be seen playing the role of an ambitious financial analyst and has been cast opposite Rohan Mehra, who happens to be the son of the late actor Vinod Mehra’s son.

Speaking about Radhika Apte’s role in the film, Nikkhil Advani said, “She will be seen playing the role of an ambitious Priya, who has no reservations about using her sexuality in order to climb the corporate ladder.”

The story of `dhandho' and `vyaapar' - as director Gauravv calls the film - is produced by Dheeraj Wad Havan and Ajay Kapoor and is slated to releases this December.
