Gauhar Khan Slap-gate

The biggest story of the week has been Gauahar Khan’s slap controversy. The model turned TV anchor was slapped by a 24 year old, Akil Malik during the shoot of reality TV show, India’s Raw Star.

The reason that the accused sighted for his bizarre behavior was the fact that Gauahar wears ‘skimpy dresses.’ The accused was later arrested by the police on charges of molestation, while a strong Gauahar completed the shoot.

In a press conference, Gauahar said that, “If someone is opposed to any ideologies, an educated society and its youth should raise their voice, protest in a peaceful manner and have a dialogue. Not beat, attack and feel [they'll] be scot free. I am not here to promote any kind of dress code or state that one must or must not wear certain clothes. I’m only here to state that no one – and I repeat, no one – has the right to attack, hurt or torture anybody – be it a woman or man – for exercising what one’s personal beliefs or thoughts might be.”

The Khan-tastic Reunion

India TV’s iconic show, Aap Ki Adalat completed 21 years and the channel along with the host of the show, Rajat Sharma threw a grand bash to celebrate the milestone at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan.

The event was attended by the who’s who of India including politicos, business tycoons, sport stars and film stars. Though the entire event was high on memory value but the high point of the event was the coming together of the three Khans of Bollywood.

Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, who have been at loggerheads since past few years were brought together on the same stage by Rajat. Not only did they posed for the camera but also gave audiences some entertaining moments.

Deven Verma passes away

Bollywood’s veteran comic actor, Deven Verma breathed his last this week. The actor passed away at Sahyadri Hospital in Pune and he was 77 years old. The jovial actor was unwell since last one and a half years. Off late he had developed heart ailment after being diabetic since last 35 years.

He will be remembered for his remarkable performances in films like Angoor, Golmaal, Rang Birangi, Chori Mera Kaam and Chor Ke Ghar Chor to name a few. Remembering Verma, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “Deven Verma ... friend, co artist, producer and one that brought smiles on the faces of millions ... no more! Prayers & condolences. Deven Verma ... shall never be able to repeat our patent greeting: 'this floor is made of cement concrete’! RIP,” he added.

Karan Johar’s next starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma

It’s going to be a treat for both KJo as well as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s fans as the director has announced his next directorial venture, which will also mark the comeback of Aishwarya after becoming a mommy.

The film is titled, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and will also star Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. Talking about the project, Johar confirmed that love and conflict is the theme of his upcoming film. While he thinks it‘s too soon to talk about the film, he confirms that this won’t be just another conventional love story or love triangle. We are waiting to hear more KJo!

Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu announce their marriage!

It’s going to be band-baaja-baarat time once again at the Pataudis as Soha Ali Khan has finalized her wedding date with long time beau Kunal Khemu. The couple has announced that they will tie the knot on January 25, 2015.

The couple who has been dating and living together for past four years will soon be man and wife. They are planning to have a simple ceremony with just family and friends around. We are waiting for the wedding bells to ring!

Varun Dhawan surprises all with Badlapur

It won’t be wrong if we say that Varun Dhawan has finally arrived! A look at the recently launched teaser and posters of his upcoming film, Badlapur and you’ll know what we are talking about. The young actor, who has so far done only fun roles will be seen in a never seen before avatar.

The teaser of the film is already creating waves on the Internet and audiences are swearing by Varun’s performance. Looks like the boy has finally found his calling!
