AIB Roast with Ranveer & Arjun goes viral


Hindi film industry, which has been so far ridiculed for its cringe worthy humour has finally got some accolades with All India Bakchod’s Roast with Ranvir Singh ans Arjun Kapoor. With one of the roast master being filmmaker Karan Johar, the video has gone viral on the internet with its adult content and politically incorrect gutso.




Hawaizaada under censor row


Censor board’s axe worked yet again and the makers of Hawaizaada had to replace “bloody Indian” with “crazy Indian.” All this was done to get ‘U’ certificate for the film, which wouldn’t have been possible with the word “bloody” in place. On the other hand, Ayushman Khurrana starrer Hawaizaada has been made tax free in Uttar Pradesh.

Akshay Kumar starts Singh is Bling, Hrithik gets into Mohenjo mood


Two of the most talked about movies of the year, Akshay Kumar starrer Singh is Bling and Hrithik starrer Mohenjo Daro went on floor this week. Both the stars have begun shooting for the respective movies. Mohenjo Daro stars Hrithik Roshan opposite newcomer Pooja Hegde in the lead role.

Bombay Velvet poster out, Ranbir Kapoor as Johnny Balraj creates a roar!


After a lot of anticipation, the poster of Ranbir Kapoor’s next neo-noir drama came out this week. The poster that presents Ranbir as a street fighter says, “"HELLO! I AM JOHNNY BALRAJ. NICE TO MEET YOU." Also starring Anushka Sharma, Bombay Velvet is based on Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables, the film explores Mumbai in the early 1950s and 1960s. The film is scheduled for May 15 release.

Obama pulls an SRK in India


During his latest trip to India, US President Barack Obama surprised his audiences by giving his speech a Bollywood twist. He added some chutzpah to the speech by delivering Shah Rukh's dialogue from the 1995 movie "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge". "Senorita, bade bade deshon ... You know what I mean," he said and drew a huge applause from his audiences.

Legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar were bestowed upon with the honour of Padma Vibhushan on this Republic Day. The two veterans have been announced as the recipients for their exceptional and distinguished service in the field of art.

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and celebrated lyricist and ad guru Prasoon Joshi were named for Padma Shri honour for their contribution to art over all these years. Bhansali is currently working on his period drama Bhajirao Mastani.
