Monisha

Monisha Unni was an Indian film actress.Monisha was 16 when she won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her debut film, Nakhakshathangal. This made her the youngest recipient of the National Film Award for Best Actress. Along with Sharada, Shobhana, Meera Jasmine and Surabhi Lakshmi, Monisha Unni is one of five Malayalam actresses who has won the National Film Award for Best Actress., though another Malayalee actress Shobha had also won it for her performance in a Tamil Movie. She died in a car accident near Cherthala, Alappuzha at the age of 21.
