Nandha Nanditha Telugu Movie
There are films that are bad and there are films that are worse; 'Nanda Nanditha' falls somewhere conveniently in the middle. The film is neither bad nor worse but definitely doesn't live up to the expectation. As audience you will have to strap yourself to the seats if you plan on sitting through this movie.
Nanda is a good for nothing son of an alcoholic father, an auto driver and an abusive step mother. One night when he gets kicked out of his house, he knocks for refuge on the door of his friend's house. He begins work for his friend in his finance recovery agency. There he falls head over heels for Nanditha and love blossoms between them. Sometime later, he bumps into the local baddie Nassar, who commissions him assassinate his rival, another big baddie in the town. The assassination goes bust and Nanditha happens somehow come to learn about Nanda's involvement. She disappears from his life, leaving Nanda to suffer and earn the wrath of both the dons. How does Nanda handle the baddies and win back Nanditha forms the rest of the story.
Unfortunately there are no highlights in the film that are worth talking about. The whole experience of watching this film reminds me of a scene from 'A Clockwork Orange', where a young, violent boy who gets admitted for exhibiting extremely violent behavior, is strapped to a chair and made to watch more violence, as part of the therapy and he eventually stops being violent after being exposed to watching violence nonstop. Similar feeling is experienced by the viewer while watching this film; neither can you leave half way, as you've paid nor can you sit through the film.
Besides the boring and stressful experience the film manages to deliver, there isn't anything worth talking about in the film. Direction was completely crooked, all over and aimless. All departments lacked a vision and purpose; each of the departments worked individually but not in union.
In essence; 'Nanda Nanditha' lacked basic elements that make any film watchable.
