Sudigadu Telugu Movie
Sudigadu doesn't even give you a minute to stop laughing. From the word go, the film in archetypal cliched fashion makes you laugh till you cry. When was the last time you walked out of a theatre laughing loudly that a passer by almost stopped to inquire if you're alright? If you haven't felt like this in a long time then you ought to see this film at all cost. Of course here's a warning I'd like to give you if you still haven't watched the film. Please keep the thinking and analysis for afterward and enjoy the film while watching.
A mother delivers a child with super-human capabilities who puts the villain's son into coma with a punch minutes after his birth. The villain sends his men to finish off the parents and bring the baby to him. Miraculously, the parents escape from the clutches of the henchmen by handing over the baby to the grandmother, who moves to Hyderabad to raise him up. The rest of the story takes us through a spoof of several blockbuster Telugu and Tamil films of the recent past.
You can't expect logic in this film but plenty of moments that'll make you roll on the floor and laugh. Based on the Tamil film titled 'Tamil Padam', Sudigadu doesn't boast an interesting storyline or avant-garde cinematography or screenplay; all that it manages to do is give you hours of laughter that you don't mind taking home. Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao doesn't spare a single film of repute or any actor of superstar status. The spoofs are entertaining but what holds the film together is the humorous spirit of the film. However, your patience is test towards the end with an extended and silly climax which could've been chopped by few minutes. The dialogues are very funnily written and perfectly suit to the overall setting of the film.
Naresh shines in his role with good support from Kovai Sarla and other comedians. Monal Gajjar puts up a sleaze festival by baring everything. She doesn't have much of a role to be proud of. The others display a decent performance. The music was disappointing and not even one song stands out.
