Feature Film | 2014
Critics:
Autonagar Surya finally ended up as a stale product with out soul. There are several good moments in the movie but it looked like no one in the movie unit are interested in making a quality product.

Surya (Naga Chaitanya) is a mechanic is a an orphan who owns a mechanic shop in Autonagar area of Vijayawada. The people of the colony is being harassed by a local corporator, Indra (JP). Surya stands for the people and fights for the injustice done to them. Will Surya tame Indra? Is there some one big behind Indra? What happens at the end? is the rest of the story about.

Naga Chaitanya has given a decent performance. The notable development in his acting is the dialogue delivery. He delivered some very lengthy dialogues. Samantha after a long time did not get a role with substance. She just remained as a mere glam doll. The guy who played the main villain, Ajay and Jaya Prakash Reddy are decent. Venu Madhav and Brahmanandham failed miserably in managing laughter from the audience.

Deva

Katta who rose to so much of fame and critical acclaim with his previous film, Prasthanam had adopted same formula for the movie. But the story fell apart with shallow concept. There are few good scenes and well written dialogues in the movie but they are of not a great help.

Anoop Rubens songs did not go well into audience except one or two. They are of no effect even on the screen. Srikanth Naroj's cinematography is pretty ordinary. Gautam Raju's editing is not up to the standards.

Autonagar Surya finally ended up as a stale product with out soul. There are several good moments in the movie but it looked like no one in the movie unit are interested in making a quality product. Watch it if you have nothing to do over the weekend
