Rowdy Fellow is one more wasted opportunity. A good subject is marred by the inexperience of director which resulted in several flaws in the film. On the whole the film fails to impress the audience in anyway.

Rana Pratap Jayadev (Nara Rohit) is a rich brat. On one occasion, Eluru SP Pramahansa (Ahuti Prasad) catches his collar hurting the ego of him. Jayadev spills his money and becomes SI of Rajolu. He wants to leave the job once he settles score with Paramahansa. but when he is about to leave, he falls for Pramahansa's daughter Megha (Visakha Singh). As he tried to woo Megha, Jayadev gets tangled in further complications with an MP Durga Prasad (Rao Ramesh). What happens next is the rest of the story.

Nara Rohit has earned some good reputation for himself in audience with his good selection of subjects. But he is letting down the audience by not taking any care on his physique and expressions. Accent is the biggest plus of Rohit but he is not even taking care of the dialogue delivery. Vishakha Singh has got a limited role and has very little to do. Rao Ramesh suited perfectly as the villain. Gollapudi Maruthi Rao comes a relief after a long time in a little role. Ahuti Prasad, Posani Krishna Murali, Talluri Rameswari, Satya, Praveen, Supreeth, Ajay and Lal have played their part.

Lyricist Krishna Chaitanya has made his directional debut with Rowdy Fellow. But the journey is a bumpy ride. He came up with a novel subject but totally failed to execute the script. The story has got lot of loopholes and even failed to elevate the heroism even after the script has so much of scope. The first half of the film starts very slow and slowly creates interest towards interval. However the story totally goes wayward and drifts away.

Both the music and background score has failed to impress. Despite being a lyricist, Krishna Chaitanya could not do appreciable job in this area. The yesteryear hit Enta Vaaru Kaani is shot very well. The editor has completely missed the trick especially in the first half. Stunts are realistic and some dialogues are good. Cinematography of Aravindan is good.

Finally, Rowdy Fellow is one more wasted opportunity. A good subject is marred by the inexperience of director which resulted in several flaws in the film. On the whole the film fails to impress the audience in anyway.
