Lakshmi Raave Ma Intiki Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2014 | UA
Critics:
Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki suffers lack of consistency. The first half of the film is passable while Second half totally fizzes out. The director could not bind the audience with emotions and warmth that are prerequisites of a romantic entertainer. Finally, the film ended up as an average fare and watch it if you have nothing to do this weekend.

Sai (Naga Shourya) is a happy-go-lucky guy who happens to meet Lakshmi Anand (Avika Gor) and falls for her instantly. Her father, Sarvesh Anand Rao (Rao Ramesh) is a very orthodox person who enforces a strict vigil on to his family. Later, the family engages Lakshmi Anand to a software professional. And after that event, Lakshmi goes to a village where the story takes a turn. What happens there? Will Sai manage to win Lakshmi? forms the rest of the storyline.

Naga Shourya's roles seem to be quite similar to that of his previous outings and he walked through the film effortlessly in the love and emotional scenes where as the buildup scenes looked very awkward. Avika Gor once again got a role with substance and he performed very well in it. However the chemistry between the lead pair is glaringly missing. Rao Ramesh is at his usual self in the role of heroine's father. Sapthagiri, Venu, Vennela Kishore and Vidya Rao are okay in the limited roles they got. Raj Tarun voice over is good. Senior Naresh and Pragathi are adequate while Satyam Rajesh is totally wasted.

We get to see the premise of various films like Bommarillu, Oosaravelli, Ganesh, Arjun etc in this movie. Even though the film is a romantic entertainer, there seem to be no much romance. The uninteresting story is further aided by a boring screenplay by the director Nandyala Ravi. Except for Vennela Kishore and Sapthagiri, there is no much entertainment in the film and audience are not made to connect with the emotions of the people.

Music by KM Radhakrishna is decent with couple of songs being good. Background score is adequate. Dialogues are too good. Cinematography by Sai Sriram is good and editing should have been a lot better. The production values are adequate.
