‘Tharangal’ dramatizes the golden period in the life of a super star and what happens to him during his time of decline when he met with a serious accident.

Ananthan left his house leaving his near ones and his studies when his desire to be a film actor rules over his life. He gets three friends Sanjay, Yadhu, and Shyam. They rent a house near the house of the famous actor K K Nair with the aim of entering the film industry through K K Nair. But this leads them to new troubles.

New faces Rishikesh and Rupashri do the lead roles. ‘Tharangal’ is the debut directorial venture of Jeevan. Dramatist Sabu John dons K K Nair. In the banner of S and S Productions, Sunil Ambatt produces ‘Tharangal’.
