'Anyarkku Praveshanamilla' could very well find its title working against its box office prospects, since the viewers did seem to have taken it a bit too seriously, when I walked in for the show. With barely a few seats occupied, it did not seem like 'Anyarkku Praveshanamilla' will make it beyond the weekend mark, unless of course there were huge surprises in store, and expectedly, there weren't any!

The film for one has quite a weird tagline, and talks of Priyadarshan (Tini Tom) and Anjana (Adhiti Rai), a happily wedded couple leading a blissful life in a city, unless a few intruders walk into their lives and leave a mess all around.

This is a plot that we know like the back of our palm, and in no time it tells you plain and clear to head out of the cinema hall and save your time. But the optimists that we are stay put, hoping against hope that it will all eventually get better and that better sense will prevail.

The film does have its share of atrocious humor that often aims at the female anatomy, and which sounds mostly inappropriate and gross. The contrivances and cliches are all there in abundance and 'Anyarkku Praveshanamilla' sticks rigorously to its formulaic mould.

There are also the very primitive adages on the need to cautiously maintain friendships, especially if the friends happen to be of the opposite sex. None of the very honest intentions of the film appear convincing on the screen, and at best they appear like badly written propaganda that are portrayed even worse.

If you are looking around for reasons to watch the film, you might probably want to look around a bit more. For one it cannot get over it's over stretched feel, and even at a couple of hours and more, 'Anyarkku Praveshanamilla' does look like an overhaul, whichever way you look at it.

And there is also that surprise twist that awaits us at the climax, that will have you reaching out for a glass of glucose to gulp it down with. It's almost as if an obligatory twist is the need of the hour and they decide to throw one hence straight on your face, and there you have it.

Surprisingly the performances hit an all time low in 'Anyarkku Praveshanamilla' with both Tini Tom and Adhiti vying with each other for the non-performer title. While Tini goes overboard with his exaggerated mannerisms, Adhiti seems to suffer from the inhibitions of a debutante performer. The very fragile chemistry between the lead pair is a turn off as well.

There is also a supporting cast that includes names like Suraj Venjaramoodu , Sunil Sukhada and Sreejith Ravi, who appear more like spectators than partakers. The musical score of the film, which I believe has been set to tune by the director himself whips up the patchiness even further.

'Anyarkku Praveshanamilla' has a done to death recipe that it has no intent whatsoever to deviate from. Destined to end up as an also-ran, 'Anyarkku Praveshanamilla' suffers from some unpardonable sloppiness that spells its doom.
