What happens when a perfect lifestyle, a perfect day goes for a toss? A normal pizza delivery boy is all set to ride his bike, set out on his destination to deliver an order. Suddenly he is being called by his boss. He hands him a chocolate box and asks him to deliver the same to his own house. He agrees after a bit of hesitation and then sets out on his delivery schedule. A slight collision on the road alters the linear pattern of the delivery and then begins the real story. But remember, what you see or tell is not a story but exceptionally real. Galpo Holeo Sotti begins with a normal romantic storyline of a young couple Anuradha (Mimi Chakraborty) and Rudra (Soham Chakraborty).

Rudra and Anu amuses us with their on screen chemistry and are brilliantly in love. Anu is surrounded by horror fictions and films and dreams of becoming a successful horror story writer. And Rudra blissfully ignores the idea of horror and is ready to not get scared even when Anu tries her best to prove him wrong by various means. Just when you have started feeling comfortable with the on screen chemistry and have started thinking that you have already understood how the story might change its pace. The lid of the Pandora's Box is lifted up.

When the question of remake lurks potentially in the backdrop, the casting and the mis en scene definitely deserves praise. The background score and the camera miss a few perfect gut wrenching moment. However both Mimi and Soham walk away with brilliant performances. The supporting cast also deserves praise for their unmistakable screen presence and acting.

Galpo Holeo Sotti is definitely a good watch for the weak at heart also. There might be enough chills and thrills but there is a strong story and an even stronger direction to look forward to. Try keeping your pulse beat within count while watching Birsa Dasgupta's official tribute to Pizza.
