‘Rudra Simhasanam’ is a tantric thriller directed by Shibu Gangadharan and scripted by Sunil Parameswaran.

The movie is an adaptation of Sunil Parameswaran’s novel “Raudrathalam”. Suresh Gopi is seen in a new avatar as Rudra Simhan, a yogi from the Himalayas. Rudra Simhan gives up his worldly life and follows his heart.

Nikki Galrani does the female lead as Haimavathy. She is a very bold, 20 years old girl who bravely fights the impediments in her life.

Kaniha, Swetha Menon, Sudheer Karamana, Nedumudi Venu, Devan, Nishanth Sagar, and Sunil Sugatha also do important roles. Sudheer Karamana plays a sorcerer.

The lyrics by Jayasree Kishore are tuned by Viswajith. Jithu Damodar is the cinematographer.

'Rudra Simhasanam' is produced by Ashok Ammoos and Anilan Madhavan under the banners of Hemambika Golden Rays and Ammoos Visual Magic.

'Rudra Simhasanam' is a bombshell of sorts, that sends shockwaves up and down your spine, for all the wrong reasons. The tantric thriller that attempts to mix up mysticism with liberal doses of magic and mantra, very quickly makes it to the list of noted downers that have hit the screens this year.
