Celebrate the winters by taking a trip to Lucknow on screen with Feluda. Watch Badshahi Angti with your family and friends to lose yourself in the bhool bhulaiya (labyrinth) of Lucknow, as the Bengali bhadraloke sets out to solve a case in between a vacation.

Review: There are high chances, that you would keep wondering how much perfection could have been otherwise achieved with Satyajit Ray handling the screenplay. Badshahi Angti is indeed not a perfect Feluda flick, but is definitely one of the best by Sandip Ray.

A smart middle aged banker, who loves to solve mysteries as a passion is our Feluda. Abir Chatterjee as Feluda creates an impression and is all set to steal several hearts, but he is definitely not a winner as Feluda unlike his predecessor Soumitra Chatterjee. Set in a contemporary backdrop Feluda travels to Lucknow on a holiday with his uncle and his son. It is here that in between some casual meetings and a walk with history, Feluda brushes his shoulder with a certain mystery. Rather an uncanny, unsettling situation finds Feluda and forces him to find a way out.

A precious ring, picked out from the pages of history is the protagonist of this Feluda narrative. There is mystery at every corner of the maze and there is twist at every turn. But Feluda does not let you lose your way through the maze and leaves significant cues, so that one can find their way back through the maze successfully with the ring of course.

Even though there is potential in Abir as Feluda. But much like food without salt his identity will not leave a lasting flavour. With his back to back releases, one as Byomkesh and the other Feluda. Abir definitely dazzles with perfection more as the casual yet witty Byomkesh.

To summarise, Badshahi Angti is a good watch for the family to compensate the winter holidays. Celebrate the winters by taking a trip to Lucknow on screen with Feluda. Lose yourself in the bhool bhulaiya (labyrinth) of Lucknow, as the bengali bhadraloke sets out to solve a case in between a vacation.
