Critics:
Size Zero do not have the weight to keep the audience interested from start to the end. Directional blunders haunted the film all the way and made it a strictly average fare.

Soundarya (Anushka) is an obese who works in a local Fastfood center along with her friend, Jyothi (Pavani Gangireddy). While Soundarya's problem is to lose weight and get married, Jyothi wants to attain Size Zero to contest for Miss India paegant. Jyothi joins Size Zero slimming center run by Satyanand (Prakash Raj). But the drugs used by the center for weight reduction damages Jyothi's kidneys. Soundarya along with Abhi (Aarya) - Soundarya's crush start a movement which intends justice for Jyothi as well as promote natural slimming techniques. What happens finally is the rest of the story.

Anushka is simply awesome in the role of an obese. The hardwork she put on to get in to the shape of the character is the major highlight. Aarya is suitable to the role of a fitness freak. Sonal Chauhan is okay in a limited character. Urvasi, Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, Master Bharath and Adivi Sesh are good in the limited roles they are given. Prakash Raj is superb as always as a baddie. Brahmi, Pavani Gangireddy and Viva Harsha are given insignificant roles. Cameos by Rana Daggubati, Nagarjuna, Hansika Motwani, Tamannaah, Lakshmi Machu, Jiiva and Bobby Simha are fine.

Size Zero stresses on the problems of Over weight which we have seen in several films like Kobbaribondam to Laddu Babu. Director Prakash Rao mixed few contemporary issues to the concept and tried to make a new story. However screenplay and narration totally killed the flavour of the film. Entertainment is key for the success of obese stories which is not the case with Size Zero. It is nothing more than direction blunders. May be sons of great directors need not be good directors too!

Nirav Shah's cinematography is not anything great. Editing and Art direction disappointed big time. MM Keeravani's music is middling and the BGM adds grace to the proceedings. Firefly came up with good CG work while Production values are just fine.

Finally Size Zero do not have the weight to keep the audience interested from start to the end. Directional blunders haunted the film all the way and made it a strictly average fare.
