Ramleela Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2015
Critics:
Ramleela is that kind of crap film which lets the audience in all possible fronts. The director failed in all fronts from picking an outdated subject to making a total mess of presentation. Further to the woes, the very inexperienced acting of the main cast further torments the audience.

Krish (Abhijeet) is an NRI working in US. His parents in India (Sivannarayana and Anita Chowdary) decides to marry him off and calls him regarding it. Exactly then, Krish sees Sasya (Nandita) in a TV program and falls flat for her. He comes down to India and marry Sasya convincing her father (Nagineedu). On Sasya's request, he gets transferred to Malaysia and plans to settle there with her. But one fine morning, Sasya elopes with her lover Ram (Havish) leaving behind a letter. Later Krish happens to meet Ram. What happens next in their story forms the rest!

Havish failed to do a good job as Ram. His voice is his major asset and he danced well too. But expressions he rendered are highly intolerable. Abhijeet is good as Krish in few scenes but failed very badly in emotional ones. Nandita failed to impress in a poorly etched character. Nagineedu, Bhanuchander, Anita Chowdary, Saptagiri and Ali does well in their roles.

New director Sripuram Kiran came up with a very outdated and predictable story. He also missed badly in giving a good screenplay to it. Saptagiri and Ali comedy track failed to impress. S. Gopal Reddy's camera work is an asset to the film. Songs and back ground score by Chinna are decent. Dialogues penned by Vissu sound forced in many scenes. Production Values are too good.

Ramleela is that kind of crap film which lets the audience in all possible fronts. The director failed in all fronts from picking an outdated subject to making a total mess of presentation. Further to the woes, the very inexperienced acting of the main cast further torments the audience. Watching the film is high risk!
