Banggaraju and Ramu are father and sons (Both played by Nagarjuna). Banggaraju expires but is back to Earth as spirit but is only seen to his wife (Ramya Krishna). Ramu on the other side has a failing marriage. Rest of the story is all about how Bangarraju saves his son's marriage as well as take revenge on those who killed him.

Nagarjuna is simply superb in two different roles and particularly his performance in Bangarraju's character is the heart of the film. Ramya Krishna is apt for the role and she is just awesome. Lavanya is good. Brahmi, Nazar, Sampath, Posani, Hamsa Nandini, Anasuya and Saptagiri are adequate. Anushka had a good special Cameo.

Kaly

an Krishna managed an excellent debut with this movie. The first half of the film is entertaining with Bangarraju's histrionics and comedy. The second half gets slow for a whole but a solid climax, makes it good as a whole.

Anoop Rubens' music is appealing and back ground score is good as well. Cinematography is fine and editing is okay. Production Values of Annapurna Studios are appropriate. Stunts are overboard at times but are okay.

Finally, Soggade Chinni Nayana is an apt for Sankranthi. The movie has something or other to all the sections of audience and is more likely to emerge as a winner when compared to other releases of the season.
