Krishnashtami Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2016 | Comedy
Critics:
Krishnashtami is at most an average fare due to some comedy and emotional sequences here and there. The makers have not made a single effort to deliver something novel to the audience. Try it if you do not have anything to do over this weekend!

Krishna (Sunil) is an NRI who is settled in the United State for a long time. Sunil always wants to go back to India and finally when it happened, he meets Pallavi ( Nikki) on the way at an Europe stopover. The connecting flight gets delayed and that gives him enough time to win her over. But when he finally lands in Hyderabad, a twist occurs. Rest of the story is all about how Krishna overcomes everything for a happy ending.

Sunil did a good job as always. His comedy timing is impeccable as always. However the Sunil mark energy is missing in the characterization. He is famous for his dances but there not many special steps in the film. Nikki Galrani appeared older their her age for some reason. Dimple Chopade did not look like she is a heroine material. Brahmanandham rocked the show in couple of scenes as 'Selfie Bulfi'. Comedians Prudhvi and Saptagiri are totally wasted. Mukesh Rishi, Asutosh Rana, Ajay and Other Supporting cast are adequate.

Vasu

Varma who made his debut several years ago with a flop like Josh, even failed in his second attempt too. The movie story is being widely used in Telugu for a decade or more. Some comedy stuffed here and there is the only respite. The movie is predictable all through out and emotion worked out in some places.

Dinesh came up with a mediocre music. Two songs are shot well. Cinematography is decent while Action and Editing is just okay. Production Values of Sri Venkateswara Creations are good.

Finally, Krishnashtami is at most an average fare due to some comedy and emotional sequences here and there. The makers have not made a single effort to deliver something novel to the audience. Try it if you do not have anything to do over this weekend!
