Dulqar's performance is appreciable. But I feel this film Kali gives misinterpretation on the emotion called rage.In this film Dulqar's character exhibits severe case of irritability and wild temperament nature which the heroine simply terms it as behavior and attitude problem which actually is not the case.It is mental related illness which are the symptoms of bipolar disorder or anxiety problems.The rage expressed by hero can be treated as superficial.

The theme 'kali' or 'rage' in a man's temperament has not been researched well by the director. The 'kali' the hero exhibits is only superficial. The second half of the film has nothing to do with 'kali'. It deals more with the frustration and helplessness that arise out of the situation into which hero and heroine are thrown into. Of course, the developments in the second half will keep you at the edge of your seats, but where is 'kali'?

An event which could have occurred in anyone's life, if not short tempered person's life is portrayed very convincingly. Even if the film might be accused of having shades of 'Duel' & 'NH10', the screenplay and the whole movie is reconstructed aptly for a kerala audience.

KALI a movie really NOT worth watching. When the Hero is offended he reacts with "KALI" and the Heroine reprimands him for showing his anger.
When the heroine is at the receiving end , she reacts with "KALI" and expects the hero also to react with her KALI. A bad movie with nothing positive and
heroine's father's number stored as "IDIOT" is too silly.

good theme,husbands rage and rough and tough attitude creates havoc in his relation with good natured wife,relatives and friends,the first half of movie is
well protrayed.but second half is unnecessarily prolonged with long fighting
scenes,wife going in search of ATM chased by villain etc makes movie boring
disgusting also. both hero and heroine have performed their parts nicely.

A newly married couple: Anjali a supportive house wife to her husband Siddarth, a bank officer who has trouble controlling his anger, a habit he has been battling from childhood. The quintessential Siddarth, immature and stubborn, his temper at one point engulfs him at the cost of losing his loved ones, when it becomes a matter of life and death.
With decent acting by the lead actors and supporting cast; This one is a good watch, at the best a thriller short film shown on the big screen.

Watched the movie kali after seeing lot of bad reviews in social media.Due to that i didnt had much expectation for the movie.But Movie is really a pathbreaking movie in malayalam cinema.If you like Realistic movies like maheshinte prathikaram and Highway(hindi) you will sure like this movie.
personally i think it is the career best for samir thahir and dulqar salman.
Dop and BGM is excellent.Every actor and actress in the movie is perfectly casted.
Finally a movie worth watching.my rating 3.5

I really didn't understand why this movie was made. I mean no story at all, the one star I gave is only because of excellent bgm and sound effects, otherwise movie is utter flop. I enjoyed 1st part of film that is before interval but then film became centric on a dhaba(restaurant).Even though script offers nothing, DQ and sai's acting is awesome.
I went to see film by seeing reviews on filmibeat,behindwood.I'm waiting for a review from nowrunning and I can expect sincerity from nowrunnning.
