Feature Film | 2016 | U | Comedy
Critics:
Seethamma Andhalu Ramayya Sitralu is a village rom-com which is made with a beaten to death routine story and predictable narration. The good entertainment quotient helped to the film to some extent making it a so-so fare.

Ramu (Raj Tharun) is ambition-less wanderer in a village who loves Seetha (Arthana) from his childhood. Later she becomes a medico and when her family wants to marry her to a rich guy, Ramu proposes to her. Seetha as well as her family rejects him outright. How Ramu wins the girl in the end is what the film is all about.

Raj Tharun is getting repetitive about his roles even in his fourth film itself. Its a tailor made character and he walked through it effortlessly. Arthana is seen in a girl next door character and she is decent. However she has to work so much on her expressions. Raja Ravindra's role has lot of promise but was wasted. Shakalaka Shankar rocked the show with his excellent comic timing. Rest of the character do not carry much impact.

Srinivas Gavireddy seem to have missed a great opportunity with his debut project. He seem to have did good work with individual scenes but when they are combined, something is missing killing the effect. When the film runs in to 'challenging' realms, the film totally fizzes out. The film started off well and was able to maintain some interest in few episodes. The 1st half takes a slow start and the budding romance of the lead pair makes it an average fare by the time the first half is concluded. Second half is largely predictable and thus boring although ends in some what entertaining and still predictable climax.

Gopi Sundar once again came up with a superlative music album and the back ground score is good as well. Editing is smooth and camera work is decent. Dialogues especially the comedy punches worked out. Stunts are over top at many places. Production Values are adequate.
