You can watch ‘Manithan’ as it is completely free of vulgarity and obscenity and for showing the plight of the platform dwellers.After his successful stints in romcoms Udhayanidhi Stalin is trying his hand at serious roles and after 'Gethu' he has chosen to remake 'Jolly LLB' as Manithan’ which gives ample scope for him to prove his potential as an actor.

'Manithan'is an official adaptation of the Hindi flick, Jolly LLB, nativity and other linguistic aspects have been tweaked well to suit our audience. It is called ”adaptation” for a reason. It is not a remake! Appreciation to the director and writer Ajayan Bala for the same.

'Manithan' generally hovers in the hmmm-not-all-that-bad-zone because it’s such a crowd-pleasing script. Ahmed’s Manithan is a remake of the Hindi hit Jolly LLB, and the surprise is that it Tamil-ises the original without hero-ising it.
