Kshanam Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2016 | UA | Suspense
Critics:
Kshanam is definitely a different attempt for Telguu audience. It is a bit far from what we can call as a perfect thriller but it will definitely satisfy the expectations we carry in to the theaters when we go for a small film.

Rishi (Adivi Sesh) is an NRI working as an Investment banker in USA. One fine day, he gets a panick call from his ex-girl friend, Swetha (Adah Sharma). He takes next flight to India to know Swetha's daughter has been kidnappened and she needs his help very badly. As Rishi tries to dip in to the case, he finds the entire system very non co-operative. What happens next in his hunt for the little girl forms the rest of the story.

Adivi Sesh is extremely impressive in the film. His performance is very natural and organic. It will be for sure his commendable performance for a long long time. Adah Sharma gets a performance oriented role for the first time. She struggled to get her expressions right but still its a good effort one should say. Anasuya as ACP Jaya Bhardwaj is totally a surprise package. Her hardwork is definitely visible in the unusual role. She is a prospect to look out. Vennela Kishore, Satyam Rajesh, Satyadev and Ravi Varma have done well too.

Debut director Ravikanth Perepu managed a good outing in his first project. There are places where the inexperience is visible but he managed to mask it up. Major credit here must go to the basic story and screenplay penned by Adivi Sesh. Ravikanth has to only decently execute it and he did that. When we need to talk of the negatives, the proceedings are bit slow in the second half and the film's biggest problem was the final revealing twist. It needed a way better execution that what we see on screen.

Pakala Sricharan's music is not that great but the back ground score is effective. The camera work is good in parts with locations working very well. Editing should have been better at places while dialogues are good. Production Values are okay.

Kshanam is definitely a different attempt. It is a bit far from what we can call as a perfect thriller but it will definitely satisfy the expectations we carry in to the theaters when we go for a small film. GOOD ATTEMPT
