George Clooney plays the brash TV show host. His producer is Julia Roberts. The film has been directed by Jodie Foster.

This information should be enough for you to rush out and buy tickets to this rather engaging conflict between the 'haves' and the 'have nots'. The equation is skewed when a disgruntled young man brings a gun and wants answers.

The film manages to ask a lot of questions about the way we deal with money in this day and age. How everything is run by things called 'algorithms' that help trade in stocks in volumes that are so large, they have to be done on computers. The quants rule this fast moving world. Quantitative Analysts know how to use statistical methods and mathematics to analyse risk taking. It's a way of life. One mistake and people lose their livelihoods.

Julia Roberts does not get to flash that million watt smile, but she uses her brains to run the show live. George Clooney's character grows from a brash mouthy TV Show host to a humbler, gentler human being. That is such a wonderful change from the self confident Danny Ocean you have seen, you enjoy watching the movie.

The cops in New York do the usual: evacuate the people, put snipers in place, attempt to get a negotiator to talk and more. Do these tactics work on a man who does not care about his life?
