Go for it if you are a Santhanam fan and prefer light entertainers. 'SPPR' provides passable entertainment from time to time as the screenplay, though inorganic keeps moving from one situation to another and in the second half when the entire cast assembles in one place there are also some loud fun moments provided by Vivek and VTV.

Santhanam’s initial set of heroic films had decent scripts and there were no scenes to highlight his heroism. But in Sakka Podu Podu Raja, things are over-the-top and it’s very difficult to sit through this misadventure. Any hero would love to act in mass action films but times are changing and audiences are no longer interested in watching such mindless commercial movies.
