PLOT:

Vimaanam is based on the life of Saji Thomas, a differently-abled man from Kerala. It showcases how Saji, who had speech and hearing impairment, fought all odds and built a lightweight aircraft from recycled materials without any external support.

Anyone going to the theatre for seeing the inspiring life of Saji M Thomas will be disappointed as the movie had nothing to do with him other than that both had hearing impairment and that both had the dream of making and flying an aeroplane. What could have been a memorable movie degenerated into a box office romantic masala with only a few credits. The performances of Prithviraj, Alencier and Sudheer Karamana and the camera work of Shehnad Jalal are the only highlights.

marvellous movie,worth seeing,good real protrayal of young mans dream of making and flying in plane with his intimate girl friend.Against all odds,he succeeds in his mission,and gets recognition from all,but loses unfortunately his inspirator girl friend,Prithviraj gives superb performance,especially as old mans getup,and new heroines acting is also freshening the mind.such motivated movies should be encouraged by all viewers.Espesially,when cinema lovers are fed up with nonsense stories
