Uma (Nani) falls in love with Pallavi (Niveda Thomas) while he is pursuing Ph.D. Pallavi wants to elope with his as her family is pushing her for arranged marriage but Uma refuses to that since he is not settled in life. While Uma goes to Delhi, Pallavi is married to an NRI, Arun (Aadi Pinnisetty) and shifts to the USA. Uma also goes there living with Pallavi's memories, booze and with hopes that Pallavi will come back to him one day. Pallavi comes back but not due to hatred on Arun. What happens next in their lives forms the rest.

Ninnu Kori is one of the rare occasions where the casting is perfect. Nani carried the entire film on his shoulder as always. Niveda Thomas makes an instant impression with her beauty and performance. Aadi Pinnisetty excelled in the climax sequences of the film. Prudhvi, Sudharshan, Murali Sharma, Viyullekha Raman are good in the roles they are offered.

Ninnu Kori is a spin-off of Bollywood film, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Kona Venkat has made some subtle changes to the main story. Debut director Shiva Nirvana did a decent job but missed the trick since there is no proper entertainment quotient which is expected for Nani's films. The director stressed more on the emotions. The start and interval sequence is interesting. The audience is left interested about what happens in the second half but the proceedings are too slow there killing the interest.

Siva Nirvana does a decent job as said earlier. Gopi Sunder came up with interesting music and Karthik Ghattamaneni's cinematography is impressive. Editing should have been better in the second half. Production Values are good.

Finally, Ninnu Kori is an emotional coaster ride which sans the usual entertainment expected from Nani's films. It is likely to appeal the Urban audience especially those in Overseas and Multiplexes.
