Critics:
MCA does not have the substance which people expect from a Nani and Dil Raju film. The second half disappoints and its commercial viability will depend on how the family audience embraces it in the holiday season.

Nani (Nani), a jobless Middle Class Youth is always in confrontation with his demanding sister-in-law (Bhoomika) who works as an RTO. His brother (Rajiv) goes to Delhi for training and she is transferred to Warangal. Nani has to accompany her and also falls in love with Chinni (Sai Pallavi), an undergraduate student there. Then there are baddies in their lives in the form of Bus Mafia. What happens next in their lives forms the rest of the story.

Nani as always fits perfect in the role of a Middle Class Jobless Youth. People were expecting sky high from Sai Pallavi after Fidaa but she is just okay. Bhoomika excelled in the role of a strict Vadhina and brought elegance to that. She will get more of such offers. Vijay, the baddie is good but misses native touch. Rajiv Kanakala and Priyadarshi have got limited roles while Naresh, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Pavitra Lokesh are wasted in insignificant roles.

The first half of the film is entertaining with comedy around a jobless middle-class youth pressed to do household chores and his struggles with his demanding Vadhina. The interval bang is so good and sets expectations for the second half. But then the graph goes down as the villain track comes to play and from there, it fails to meet the expectations.

Venu Sriram who struggled a lot with the second chance of his career disappointed with this film. The Vadhina - Maridhi premise is good but the story goes routine and predictable. Devi Sri Prasad is disappointing with the songs as well as the background score. Sameer Reddy's Camera work is good and Editing by Prawin Pudi could have been better. Production Values are shockingly disappointing for a Dil Raju film.

Finally, MCA does not have the substance which people expect from a Nani and Dil Raju film. The second half disappoints and its commercial viability will depend on how the family audience embraces it in the holiday season.
