Rendu Rellu Aaru Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2017
Critics:
Rendu Rellu Aaru is a good attempt. Choosing a better lead pair and handling the second half well would have made a big difference. Give it a try if you want to encourage the budding talent and novel attempt.

Raju (Naresh) and Rao (Ravi Kale)'s wives get delivered in the same hospital at the same time. Raju gets a Male Child, Maddy (Anil) while Rao gets a Female, Maggi (Mahima). Doctors say them individually that the babies suffer from a strange disease and will die at the age of 22. Raju and Rao do not reveal that to each other and exchange their babies in a bid to get rid of the problem. Later they decide to reside in the same colony to see their own children directly. Maddy and Maggi initially fight with each other and later fall in love. What happens later in their lives and story forms the rest.

Mahima looks natural and does a decent job. Anil looks like a miscast and is the weaklink of the film. Naresh and Ravi Kale have put up a good show as parents. Thagubothu Ramesh is impressive in a role which is devoid of his natural touch.

Director Naresh Mallela had selected a novel story for the film and it is his first success with this film. It started with a feel that the story will have a tragic ending but the director has prevented them. He did a decent job with the emotions between the fathers and the track between the lead pair. The romantic track, however, did not work out much. However, he faltered in the second half. There are issues of pace and the story goes predictable. The climax sequence, however, is good.

Naresh Mallela has got mixed marks with the story being novel and failing to handle the second half. Vijay Bulganin's music is an asset to the film. Camera Work by Amarnath Reddy gives you a Short Film feel at places. Dialogues are good here and there. Editing could have been better. Production Values are average.

Finally, Rendu Rellu Aaru is a good attempt. Choosing a better lead pair and handling the second half well would have made a big difference. Give it a try if you want to encourage the budding talent and novel attempt.
