'Y' exposes the hollowness and stupidity of a police investigation into a girl missing case where the policemen are only funny dummies dancing to the tune of the corrupt higher officials. The media is also not let scot-free. As the dumb investigation progresses, the perpetrators of the crime achieve their goals and are off to safety. However, the movie will keep you at the edge of your seats. A big salute to the director Sunil Ibrahim for giving Malayalam cinema a bunch of new promising actors.
