Savyasachi Telugu Movie
Vikram Aditya (Naga Chaitanya) is an Ad Filmmaker who suffers from Vanishing Twin Syndrome where his left hand is not in control when he is happy or angry. Vikram falls in love with Chitra (Niddhi Agarwal) and when everything is going fine, his brother in law gets killed and his niece gets kidnapped during a Bomb Blast. Rest of the story is as to how Vikram saves his niece and how Madhavan features in this entire setup.
Naga Chaitanya is seen a Mass Avatar after a long time. He looks good in fights and performed decently. Nidhi Agarwal makes a promising debut as she looks pretty and performs neat. Madhavan is excellent as a baddie but his track is ridiculously bad. Bhoomika is okay in a limited role while Thagubothu Ramesh is good in a different comedy track. Vennela Kishore, Satya, Shakalaka Shankar, Sudharshan managed some laughs here and there.
Chandoo Mondeti who is also the Writer of the film chose a routine revenge drama and added the concept of Vanishing Twin Syndrome in the name of 'Something Different'. The first half is only about the characters introduction and not so effective love scenes. The Second Half is where the story begins and it is more about a Mind Game. Gripping narration and interesting scenes are needed to drive the point home but the director missed it. Dialogues by Chandoo Mondeti are well written. Keeravani came up with an average album while the background score is excellent. Yuvraj's camera work is too good. The Production Values of Mythri Movie Makers are superb.
Finally, Savyasachi is beautifully mounted on an interesting concept but it is let down completely by the director who does nothing to present it well. Don't even want to comment about the romance. It may a one-time watch for fans due to the mass elements here and there.
