Critics:
Vellipomake is a good concept which can connect to the current generation youth with its contemporary touch but then, the amateurish cast and treatment did not serve the purpose.

Chandu (Vishvaksen) works as an Animation Engineer who is on a look out for a girl friend as he feels that is the norm of the youth to have one. He desperately tries to woo one but could not manage to get one and he is depressed. One fine day, he gets a friend request on Facebook from Swetha (Nityasree Reddy). While he is in love with her madly, she suddenly disappears. What happens next forms the rest.

The majority of the cast in the film are newcomers and as a result, the movie gives us a short film like feel. Hero Vishvaksen is okay in a two shades character as a caring lover and reserved young man. Nitya Sree is okay. Swetha, Supraja, Dinesh Naidu and others are fine in the roles they are offered.

Yaku

b Ali, the director of the film had chosen a contemporary story to which the youth can connect. But then, it is not excitingly narrated as the movie goes on predictable lines without any twists and turns here. The first half is a bit testing as the director takes his own time to get into the story. Prashant Vihari's songs are not that appealing but his background score is stirring. The camera work is slick and lends depth to the frames. Editing by the director himself is a disappointment due to too much of lag here and there.

Finally, Vellipomake is a good concept which can connect to the current generation youth with its contemporary touch but then, the amateurish cast and treatment did not serve the purpose.
