Mental Madhilo is the love story of Aravind Krishna (Sree Vishnu) who gets confused with multiple choices since his childhood. Later when he reaches the age of marriage, he is confused between choosing two girls. What happens next in his life forms the rest of the story.

Sree Vishnu is a perfect fit as the guy who is confused and shy. He is improving with every film and displayed maturity in some crucial sequences. Nivetha Pethuraj is always known to be a good actress and she is good in her first outing in Telugu. Their chemistry is endearing. The girl who is seen as Renu is also good. Shivaji Raja gets a good role as the hero's father after a long time and he is good. Others are okay.

The new director Vivek Atreya chose a story which will appeal to the contemporary youth and their aspirations about their marriage and life partners. The first half is good particularly the childhood confusions and the Pelli Choopulu sequences. The interval twist is good but the second half is a bit let down with the Mumbai sequences disappointing.

The debut director Vivek Atreya displayed tremendous maturity for a first timer. Subjects like these are tough to handle but he did that with ease. The dialogues are also well written. Prashant R Vihari came up with a good album and the background score is appealing. The camera work by Veda Raman is neat while the editing by Viplav is also good. Production Values of Dharmapratha Creations are appropriate.

Finally, Mental Madhilo is a Simple and entertaining love story about a guy who gets confused with multiple choices (& with two girls). It will appeal to the youth and A Class audience.
