Rangularaatnam Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2018
Critics:
Rangula Raatnam has a disappointing First half filled with too much of melodrama. Interestingly, the mother-son track in the first half has no relation to the story whatsoever. The second half is directionless until the climax which is good. Give it a Miss!

Vishnu (Raj Tharun) runs a Greetings Company, Emotion and shares a very close relationship with his mother (Sithara). Vishnu falls in love with Keerthi (Chitra Shukla) and when everything seems to be going fine, a tragedy strikes his life. Rest of the story is all about how he deals with this twists and how his love story progresses.

Raj Tharun's character in this film is just like his character in many of his previous films. However, he showed a lot of improvement in sentimental scenes. The new girl, Chitra Shukla is a perfect fit for the role. But she appeared older than Raj Tharun. Sithara makes an instant impression in the role of Vishnu's mother. Priyadarshi brings in some laughs here and there.

Even

though, Annapurna Studios is known for their lavish Production Values. The movie is made with shoestring budget; there is hardly any impressive technical output. Newbie director Sree chose a different storyline with the family-oriented approach for her first movie. But then the sentiment has become melodrama and the soul of the film is missing. The album given by Sricharan Pakala is disappointing. LK Vijay's camera work is okay. Sreekar Prasad's Editing could have been a lot better in the first half.

Finally, Rangula Raatnam has a disappointing First half filled with too much of melodrama. Interestingly, the mother-son track in the first half has no relation to the story whatsoever. The second half is directionless until the climax which is good. Give it a Miss!
