Paper Boy Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2018
Critics:
Paperboy is another Rich Girl Poor Boy Love Story which is not handled well. The movie appeals in bits and pieces but the overall experience has been disappointing due to the slow pace and boring sequences in the second half.

Ravi (Santosh Shoban) hails from a poor family and funds his Engineering by delivering Newspapers. He falls in love with Dharani (Riya Suman), a rich girl in the gated community where he delivers Newspapers. As in all rich-poor love stories, Dharani's Brothers oppose this and ensure that Ravi flees out of the city along with his family. The rest is all about what Dharani does to get her love back and how she convinces her family.

Santosh Shoban is a Decent actor and is good in Emotional Episodes. Riya Suman gets an equally important role and is Okay. Tanya Hope plays an important supporting role and is good. Vidyullekha, Bithiri Sathi, and others are adequate. Posani is okay and the rest are okay.

Debu

tant Director Jay Shankar committed a big mistake by choosing a time-tested storyline of a Rich Girl falling for Poor Boy and banking on emotions and conflicts. The first half of the film is more about the brewing romance and has been decent. But then, the second half is poor with too much of drama and lag. The climax is also overboard. Dialogues by Sampath Nandi are good. Bheems Cecerilio's songs are good while the background score is okay. Soundarrajan's camera work is good while the Editing could have been crispier in the second half. Production Values are appropriate.
