If you are willing to overlook the facts and history, 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero' makes for a thrilling watch. There is not a single dull moment -especially in the second half when the war scenes come alive. The film has sleek action, well-shot scenes and a very menacing Saif Ali Khan who more than makes up for all the flaws.

With filmmakers scrambling to convert historical accounts into big-screen spectacles, this one makes for a deserving tribute to a warrior who slipped through the cracks of history and arguably, was eclipsed by the Maharaj he represented. But even for those who don’t care for a history lesson, this makes for an action-packed battle film that introduces one to ancient war techniques and formations employed to circumvent every obstacle.

TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR is an entertaining and a paisa-vasool film that would be loved by the masses as well as classes. At the box office, it can run riot in Maharashtra and other mass centres and could turn out to be the first Rs. 100 crore grosser of 2020. Highly Recommended!
