There is no dearth of ideas in Kushi, but it does not follow them to their logical end and lets the lure to boost the entertainment quotient dictate the eventual shape. It could have been a timely ode to love across differences.

'Kushi' is more about star power (Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu) than convincing storytelling. The premise about science vs. superstition (and adjustment between a couple) is solid. But the exaggerated treatment does not let us take this couple seriously.
