Coolie is a watchable action drama, driven by Rajinikanth’s magnetic screen presence, Soubin Shahir’s strong characterisation, and Sathyaraj’s dignified performance. Nagarjuna does a fair job as the antagonist. The film offers enough fan-pleasing elements – stylish fights, key confrontations, and a handful of engaging moments. However, the storyline is nothing remarkable, the execution feels flat, and there are no major twists or surprises to lift the narrative. Watch it for Rajini, and you might find it decent, but mainly if you’re a true fan.

dont expect like jailer or vikram type mass movie. it will be like kabali, kala, etc. no punch dialogue. no heroine.no duet. lokesh kanagaraj only can do this kind of gangster movie. may be the kids, who born after 2000, if they are rajini fans, they may like it. one film cannot satisfy every person, including the rajinikanth fans. but, its a good movie for lokesh and rajini. every actors, played very well. last 20 minutes is goos bumps and no occassional mass moments. its definitely come back movie for lokesh, who gave a unwelcomed leo movie. nagarjuna said, it will be equal to 100 batcha. but, its definitely 100 times better than annattha, leo and thug life, surely. bgm, music ok. nice twists. as i am a rajini fan, i watched jailer 4 times and i will watch this movie, one time again. it will not get jailer collection and its fate will be like the movies of vidaa muyarchi and vettaiyan. dont come with much expectation and it will engage you fully. average first half and above average, second half.
