Jimmy is directed by Raj Sippy and stars Mimoh Chakraborty, son of Mithun Chakraborty. The trailers highlighted the dancing talents of Mimoh and it was said he could give Hrithik Roshan a run for his money. Unfortunately though Mimoh fails big time. Read on to find out just why.

First the story...

In the dead of the night, the police recover a young woman's dead body. All leads point to Jimmy. A mechanical engineer by day and a dancing sensation by night, Jimmy works as a DJ in the local discotheque to pay off the debts left behind by his late father. While everybody is shocked, Jimmy owns up to the murder and is sentenced to death.

Why would a young man on the threshold of life commit such a heinous crime? Only Jimmy knows the truth. In a sudden twist of fate, Jimmy realizes in jail that he has been drawn in to a vicious conspiracy. But it is too late... or is it?

What follows is a spine-chilling suspense drama that unfolds in this fast-paced saga of crime, deceit and murder.

Jimmy lost the battle during the scripting stages itself. The biggest flaw in the movie is the writing. Its outdated and seems to have a 70s hangover. The direction by director Raj Sippy is bad. The music is below average. Dialogues are funny.

Coming to the performances, they are even worse. Mimoh voice sounds girlish. His styling has gone all wrong. His dancing is the only saving grace but the songs have been badly shot. He needs to work very hard on his diction too. His co-star Vivana needs a crash course in acting. The rest of the cast isn't worth a mention.

To sum things up, Jimmy is one of the worst movies in recent times.
