If you want to watch a film with mindless violence and gruesome blood spilling sequences, then watch this film at your risk. The film has been made only with a view to catch up the craze for the gangster films which have been getting some good initial these days. There has been eagerness on the part of some producers to just include some real life crime incidents in the Bangalore Underworld and hatch up a story which has lot of space for violence. They don't mind even getting A certificate from the Censors. And despite the fact that such films are getting a severe beating in the Box office, the production of such films has not stopped.

Agrahaara is one such film which is nothing but an assault on your sensibilities and is made in a very bad taste. It is a story of mindless violence and even the title of the film has no connection to the content.

And there is the gory climax sequence where a ten or eleven year old young boy who stabs deep into the villain's stomach and gets killed. How the censors allowed such a sequence which makes you so depressed should be a matter of concern.

Director Akshay had said that he has included many real-life incidents and had even added that many characters in the film could be identified. But what he has made is a horrible film that can test your patience many a times. And it has a worst climax where a police officer allows the hero to escape from the clutches of law. It is the crudest film that has been seen in Kannada films in recent times.

Agrahaara has the same repeated story of an innocent boy getting into the world of crime and trying to come out of it. And there is a love angle in it. But nothing makes the film likeable because of its crude narration.

The film's hero Arya has nothing to offer in acting. His hairstyle is so bad that it even conceals the emotional performance. Neetushri, the heroine who had won a state award recently has been completely wasted. Kishor has once again proved his talents as an actor.

Watch this film at your own risk.

Rating: One star.
