Flash Malayalam Movie

Dhwani (Parvathy), sole heir to the Kalarithodi family properties, is a girl born and brought up in Chennai. There is little that she knows about other relatives in Kerala or about the life, culture and traditions of the State. When her mother dies of cancer, she is brought to the ancestral home. Her grandfather dots on her, and to make up for the years of separation, lavishes immense love and affection on her. It is at this juncture that Mithun Madhavan (Mohanlal) comes into her life, following which everything changes.

Flash is a Siby Malayil family thriller scripted by S. Bhasurachandran with Mohanlal and Parvathy (of Notebook fame) in the lead. The film, which was shot at Kannoor, Kanjangad, Kozhikode and Changanacherry has completed production and is slated for release by Mulakupadom Films on December 20, 2007 to cash in on the Christmas - New Year season.

Jagathy Sreekumar plays a major role in the film as Mohanlal's close friend. He is called Idea Sasi, because he is all the time coming up with ideas, not all of which are practical. Tamil actor Ponvarnan also plays a meaty role in the film. Director Siby Malayil is casting Mohanlal after a rather long gap.
