Bored of watching the stereotyped romantic film or a serious movie? How about horror for a change? It has been quite sometime that thrillers have been in the limelight and here is one movie which can give you thrills and chills.

Yavarum Nalam is a spooky thriller and it can keep your eyes glued to the cinema screen-making you wonder what will happen next.

Manohar (Madhavan) moves into a new apartment with his mother (Saranya), wife (Neetu Chandra), sister, brother, sister in law, niece and nephew-a happy set of eight people. Considering that this is a spooky film, there are no prizes for guessing which floor he lives in? Of course, it is 13th floor indeed!

A TV serial freak, the women in his family set their eyes on a soap called Yavarum Nalam every afternoon, thirteenth hour to be precise.. and soon there is a twist in the story. The addiction to the serial and the series of events which take place subsequent to that.

Manohar starts his regime to work and as he realises the lift never works. Imagine climbing 13th floor everyday! Soon, his wife Priya gets a shock, lights get turned on their own. What is wrong, he keeps wondering... Manohar gets petrified. Is his house haunted?

He seeks the help of a doctor and confides in him along with his friend and soon demystifies everything. With excellent cinematography and direction, this movie is a sure shot thriller, an absolute entertainer.

Madhavan's acting is excellent and is supported well by the other characters. The movie is racy and well taken. So, go ahead, choose your company and enjoy the thriller.
