Yet another supposedly gripping time-killer. Yet another plot filled with holes wide enough for you to fall through. Yet another miserable opportunity to squander away one and a half hours of your life.

Thrill is a crime story that just doesn't pay. A suspense thriller with neither the thrill nor the suspense, I should admit that it's so unbelievably bad that I am clearly embarrassed to have seen it.

When you think of it, it's a heist movie, in which a damsel trio led by Rahul (Satya Prakash), who have had it up to their neck in their lives decide to loot a truck loaded up with tons of hot cash. With a few millions fresh bucks in their kitty, they drive off into the woods, before being nailed down by super cop Aneesh Thampan (Anoop Kumar).

There a few sob stories that the film keeps going back to which are exquisite in their dreadfulness. Those are occasions when you mutter to yourself, that this is just a film, and that the ordeal is gonna be over within a few minutes.

The outmoded, cliché-riddled direction is so clumsy and indifferent that it's hard to believe there was actually someone at the helm of affairs. There's nothing even remotely exciting or scary about Thrill. No review could really be fair to the massive futility of this enterprise; it truly has to be seen to be believed.

The writing is dreadfully bad since its all about a mystery less mystery. Scenes are often left unexplained, twisted questions left unanswered, and dense thrills lie around unimproved. Most of the dialogues are simply overcooked; the story devices are wildly implausible.

There aren't even any of those fright-moments of pseudo shock. There is not even a single surprise that ever threatens to surface. There is just a moment of excitement when the last shot goes off and you hastily leave your seat, wondering what on earth had been happening all the while.

And there is the acting of course. Barring Anoop who manages to maintain a straight face throughout, the rest of the debutantes look all bewildered and as wooden as a centennial oak. It's obvious that no one associated with this film tries very hard. Not even the choreographer who has come up with a couple of numbers that look like an aerobics class on a greasy floor for people with two left feet.

So here it is. Yet another supposedly gripping time-killer. Yet another plot filled with holes wide enough for you to fall through. Yet another miserable opportunity to squander away one and a half hours of your life.

As for the serious thrill seekers, how about a rerun of Psycho?
