TN O7 AL 4777 Tamil Movie

The Nana Patekar-John Abraham starrer 'Taxi No. 9-2-11', directed by Milan Luthria, travels all the way to Kollywood, where it becomes 'TN 07 AL 4777'. The number of course holds relevance in the Tamil context, especially since it happens to be the number of the car that belonged to the late MGR.

The Tamil remake, which is directed by Lakshmikanthan and which has Pasupathy and Ajmal Ameer in key roles, tells the story of what happens when a rich young man and a struggling taxi driver, both in need of money, happen to cross paths. The taxi driver, who has his own problems to tackle, wants to make as much money as possible and he is ready to go to any extent. The rich young guy, on the other hand, has to make it to the court in time and it has something to do with money and his father's will.

The young guy gets into the taxi driver's cab and from there the story takes off. Pasupathy, one of the most talented new entrants in Kollywood, plays the cab driver while Ajmal Ameer, who migrated to Kollywood from Malayalam with 'Anjathay', plays the rich guy. Simran and Meenakshi are the lead ladies, with Simran pairing with Pasupathy and Meenakshi pairing up with Ajmal. The film, produced under the banner of GV Films Ltd., is all set for release.
