Bibin Prabhakar, the director of Khakhi and One Way Ticket teams up with K. Gireesh Kumar, the man who had scripted films like Amritham, Alice in Wonderland and the blockbuster Veruthe Oru Bharya and actor Jayaram, to come up with Samastha Keralam P.O., produced by Howley Pottoore under the banner of Dream Team Productions.

Samastha Keralam P.O. has a little village named Thonnurkara as the backdrop. Prabhakaran is a member of the village Panchayath. Prabhakaran always thinks of the welfare of the public and is as vociferous against the ruling party as he is against the opposition when he sees injustice being done. He has a mind of his own and does not kowtow before the powers that be. This irks members of both the ruling party as well as the opposition, who all have vested interests. They join hands to fight against Prabhakaran.

Jayaram does the key role of Prabhakaran, a role that has been specifically created to cater to the tastes of the family audience, which is Jayaram's home turf. Debutante Sera is the heroine. Priyanka too plays a key role in the film. The film is slated for release in the last week of January.
